Probably the best breakfast I've has in OKC so far, much better than the chain Jimmys Egg, or whatever. I cant really go into too much detail here, I mean, it was your standard American fare breakfast...eggs, hashbrowns/potatoes, stuff like bacon, sausage, ham, cfs, corned beef hash, etc. The reason for the 5 you ask? Well, they house make their own sausage, the bacon was perfectly cooked, the hashbrowns were plentiful and while I didn't have them, I saw others with pancakes and they looked delicious. Overall, I just get the feeling that they cared about the "simple" food they were putting out. Don't go here expecting some fancy brunch type stuff, this is just good quality, well cooked breakfast food...I will be back... My only comment, owners, if you read this, please, please, PLEASE change out your lighting...fluorescent lights are the absolute worst and make the atmosphere unappealing. Im not marking off stars for that, but I really should...but then again, I just really hate fluorescent lights....

Ate at Joey's this morning as my wife was traveling and I didn't feel like cooking. Read the reviews and decided to give them a try as they are near our house. What a nice surprise. Was a little worried when I first walked in because there were only 3 occupied tables but was greeted and seated promptly. Ordered coffee which was really good, not bitter, good breakfast coffee which they kept filled. Then ordered the Heap omelette, not the prettiest omelette I've ever had but very tastey, with hash browns. Plenty of food, nice filling. Debated the corned beef hash but will try that next time. By the time I left, the place was full. Inside it's pretty plain but the service was good, reasonably priced and the food is worth going back for. Thumbs up.

My husband and I took his mom to brunch and wanted to change it up! The service was absolutely fantastic and the food was even better! I was super pleased with the server who went above and beyond to make sure I ordered what I wanted and I was not sure what that was! Lol I had the Salmon with spinach and perfectly poached eggs! I was SUPER PLEASED the flavor was fantastic eggs spot on poached. My hubby LOVED his chicken fried steak and eggs cooked perfectly, he usually does not eat eggs out (he likes his eggs well done scrambled). This place is a fantastic family establishment that I know we will make a regular stop for our weekend brunch dates!

Varieties of omlettes !! If u are a veggie lover go for herbivores Maximus - I ordered with no cheese though. When they serve bacon that melts like cheese you need not order extra cheese ;) The Belgium waffle is adequate. I would recommend to give this place a try. Worth it !!

It's a little bright for my taste as I like the dimmer light in my cafes. But it's a traditional American Cafe which is what I like for breakfast. The service was fast and friendly and judging by the increase in people we weren't the only fans.

Good food! Very friendly staff. Perfectly cooked omelettes. Love the ambience, it's pleasant and relaxing.

Joey's is great, one of the best hamburgers in town and really good salads too. My favorite salad is the "chili key lime" salad. The dressing is house made, warm, spicy, slightly sweet and very flavorful.

Unreliable hours are the problem this time. Got there between 2:35 and 2:40 on a Saturday afternoon and the door was locked. They're supposed to be open until 3:00. Called the Monday afterwards to speak to the owner about it, she wasn't there and was in and out (the person that answered the phone said), so tried again on Tuesday, but she wasn't there again. Left a message for her to call me, but she didn't until Thursday when my wife called the restaurant and happened to catch her while she was in. The owner stated that they lock the doors at 2:45 if they're not busy as a general rule. To me, that's not really acceptable - if their stated hours are until 3:00 PM, they should stay open until then (everybody I asked about this (including other people that had been or are in the restaurant business) thought this was also fairly unacceptable). What's also unacceptable is actually locking the doors even earlier. This is one of the few breakfast places on the NW side that serves breakfast after 2:00 PM, so we will probably try again, but if we can't count on a place being open when we get there, we will stop going there.

This place has great food. They are only open until 3 and serve breakfast all day. They have delicious organic coffee. Everything I have had is amazing. My favorites are 2 egg breakfast with chicken sausage and the herbie sandwich which is grilled vegetables on homemade focacia bread. Burgers, chicken piccata, eggs benedict, pot roast, vegan soup, cream of mushroom soup, and turkey club are also great menu items. They really pay attention to what they serve. My only complaint is that the service isn't always amazing but they do okay most of the time. Prices are good too, most meals under $7.

I was a little reluctant to visit Joey's at first since the location is in a strip mall and my expectations were low but the food really is worth a visit. Wait staff is friendly if occasionally a little distracted. Prices are reasonable and servings are good-sized. You can get breakfast all day long (always a plus, in my opinion) and they even have a "World Famous Vegan Soup" on the menu. The crowd seems to be business-casual older professional folks but that could just be who shows up at lunch (which is the only time I've eaten here). Plus, you can play count-the-errors on the menu while you're waiting for your food. I'm not the grammar/spelling police by any means but the soup of the day recently was listed as "tomatoe bisquit" which I thought was actually kind of charming.

Absolutely horrible service and low quality ingredients. Owners are some of the rudest people I have ever met.

First thing first. Cute little area of northern OKC. Jamba Juice, Starbucks, you get it. I was passing thru town and wanted good breakfast at 7am. Glad I found Joey's. Outside is a strip mall inside could a fresh coat of paint and decor change and move aways from industrial fluorescent lighting. Menu could use an update and redesign as well. Move past that to the food. Really good breakfast. Great presentation I had The Heap omelette and was completely full after finishing all. Excellent potatoes. I would have given this place 5 stars if slightly better coffee and decor was updated. Food is 5 stars.

Food was good. I especially liked the breakfast potatoes. Surprised to see the smaller pancakes that came with the meal but appreciated not having to waste them. Service was nowhere near as bad as described in most reviews. Need a sign at counter telling you to grab a seat or wait for service.

No gluten free menu, which we understand. However they also don't cook any foods so they are gluten free. Eggs, meat, potatoes etc can be easily prepared gluten free. That is fine, but don't go here if you have any food restrictions. They could care less.

I went for Sunday breakfast. The place was clean and moderately busy. I was seated quickly and the service was great. I ordered Coffee, the Eggs Benedict, and a large Orange Juice. While waiting and during the meal, my coffee was refreshed often. When the food arrived, not only was it tasty, but the presentation was good, something that other OKC breakfast places nee to work on. All in all, it was worth the effort to drive from Yukon to Joey's.

Visiting family in OKC and found this little place nearby. It's next to a tattoo parlor so you know..if you need a tattoo AND breakfast, this is your place. I had the country scramble plate which was good. Kids liked the pancakes which came out as a happy face with the bacon as the smile. All the dishes appear to come with fresh fruit which my doctor will appreciate. There were all kinds of people in here....biker dudes to Grandmas which I think just proves that this place can satisfy most peoples breakfast cravings. The service was friendly and attentive.

We went there to have a birthday lunch for my fiancé's brother. Got there about 1:30pm. And ordered our food. The waitress thought my fiancé mentioned he wanted the home fries and he wanted French fries. She didn't try to resolve the situation. It was easier to keep the wrong type of potatoes. Also, I got the country scramble with home fries and side of fruit. Which has given me a terrible stomach ache all day. I'm sorry but I won't come back. The food wasn't a wow factor for me.

Joey's was a great choice for breakfast today for Father's Day. They were very welcoming, our waitress was very prompt but not overbearing. Joey's has the look and feel of an American diner and the menu of an American diner. We arrived about 8 am to a somewhat empty restaurant and by the time we left at 9 am it was packed. Each of us had the usual American breakfast fare and it was delicious. The coffee was good, too. If you're looking for a great place for breakfast in NW OKC this is your place.

I had a pretty decent experience here at breakfast the other morning. The have a large variety of breakfast and lunch items, diner style. I had the florentine benedict with spinach and tomato. The hollandaise sauce was a good consistency. You can pick potatoes or fruit for your side. My boyfriend had the dish with two eggs, sausage, hashbrowns and a biscuit with gravy. The biscuit was nice and dense. The hashbrowns were less crispy and more wet, which he likes them that way. The sausage however was not good. It had no taste whatsoever, just a generic meat flavor. Anyway, we had good service and and left full. I would consider returning again in the future.

We recently moved to Oklahoma City from Little Rock and have been enjoying trying all the different restaurants around our new place. When we walked into Joey's, I got a little concerned as it is lacking any type of ambience. As soon as we were greeted by the staff, I felt a little more at ease. They were very professional, knowledgable, and dressed very well. We ordered off the very plain, and unsightly menus and our food came out quickly and was delicious. My parents are visiting from Little Rock and wanted to stay an extra day just to have another breakfast from Joey's. I'm giving it 4 stars because even though the food was impressive and seemed as though a professional chef was in the kitchen cooking his heart out, the overall appearance of the restaurant could use some work with some simple updates.

Another solid breakfast place in OKC. The food was above average, and the customer service was great. I love it when I don't have to ask for a coffee refill. Decor is a little funky, but who cares. Not too busy on a weekend morning.

Had breakfast there recently. Everything was fine until I found a hair wrapped around my breakfast potatoes. I complained of course, and the server apologized. I expected them to comp the meal as is usually the case (we are talking 10 bucks). Another person appeared at the table, mumbled something about a new check and apologized. When I looked at the bill, NOTHING was comped. I called her back and she explained that the owner (who of course wasn't there) won't let them take more than 10% off the bill. I asked why the owner won't empower them to properly address customer concerns and she said "that's just their policy". Incensed, I explained that "my policy" is never to return to a place that holds so little regard for their customers...

Checked it out for the first time and loved it! We were a little nervous because an unhappy customer was making an embarrassing scene (7-7-14)...and the waitress seemed on edge. But once we ordered and made nice with the waitress she seemed relieved. She did an excellent job. I had the turkey club and hubby had the strawberry spinach salad. Both were excellent!. We all have bad days and so do waitresses...there is never any reason to make such a scene so everyone can hear. Kindness goes a long way in rectifying a situation.

This place came recommended, but I wasn't that impressed. It's not aesthetically pleasing at all... Not the end of the world but ya know. The breakfast was good, nothing spectacular. I wanted to add a waffle to my omelet on the side and it's not an option you have to buy the whole platter. You can only add pancakes, bread, or biscuits. The biscuits and gravy doesn't come with sausage in the gravy and there weren't a ton of options so it's 3 stars. Our first round of waters came with a black fleck in one of them, and I'm sure it had just recently happened but there was pee all over the women's restroom floor. Prob won't come back.

The food is delicious, I have ordered something different there every time I go and each time, it is wonderful. My coffee is always filled and my tummy happy. Definitely recommend!

I'm only giving this place 3 stars because the wait staff were nice and the food was good. Now the loss of two, it's freakin 25 degrees outside turn the heat on! It was 30 inside the joint. The ambiance was bright inside and no music. Could've been better a little dimmer and some tunes on. The cook came out because they burnt something in back and he decided to hold open the front door. It's 25 freakin degrees outside and you've got the heater off! Where's the customer service in that? So overall the experience left us wanting them to complete the package and provide more hospitality to your customers. We won't be coming back.

This restaurant is the best breakfast I've had so far in OKC. It was busy on a Sunday. The wait staff is friendly but not well trained, and the ambiance is poor. But it is fantastic breakfast. I had corned beef hash (misspelled on the menu as "corn beef hash") and it was awesome. Tastes like they are making their own corned beef for the hash. Most places just empty the hash out of a can -- not Joey's. This was a real treat.

My friends took me out for breakfast here when I was in town. The cafe is tucked away in a grim strip of stores. The reception area is small and opens up into a large eating area. The eating area is dimly lit and the atmosphere is gloomy, which is offset by the cheerful staff. I wasn't sure what to think; my mind was stuck on "crab cakes". I sat there juggling the Crab Louie Omelet or the Egg Crab Louie. The Crab Louie Omelet had a little bit more pull because it also offered a pancakes and it seemed like the Egg Crab Louie would not offer enough food (I'm a fat boy!). I went against my fat boy tendencies and got the Egg Crab Louie, and OMFG SO FREAKING GOOD!! Don't even hesitate, just get the Egg Crab Louie. It's amazing, and the serving size is very generous. I thought I was going to get one baby crab cake patty with a baby egg on top, WRONG! I have to go here every time I visit now. Great food, great service, the perfect hole in the wall.

Walked in and there was no host to greet us. And no sign to tell us whether or not to seat ourselves or wait to be seated. Then she told us Stacy would be right with us and it was a good 10 minutes before anyone saw that we were there and got our drink orders. (Our server was talking to the other 6 servers who weren't doing anything.) Our server came to take our order, which was one of the two times we saw her in almost an hour. Food was out in a decent amount of time but it was not very good. Poached eggs are not supposed to have a hard center and hollandaise sauce isn't supposed to taste like straight mustard. The sauce was also broken. Another tip, use a tong to put lemons in water, I don't know where your servers hands have been. Not a word was said to us otherwise. Definitely won't be back.

Went there with some friends and the breakfast was good so I went the next day for lunch with my family.... The lunch was a totally different experience. Food was terrible and like something out of kitchen nightmares.

Stuck between 2-3 stars & here's why... Immediately, upon entering, I was a little disappointed. The carpet was tired and the large wall areas were bare. A warm brown paint color would do wonders for this place. This doesn't have any bearing on my review, but a couple hundred dollars would really spruce it up. I sat down in a booth that had lost most of the cushion & it seemed like I sank 6"! It felt like I just slid into a Vegas taxi! I didn't even look at the menu because my mind was made up on the Crab Louie fellow Yelpers raved about in many reviews. When it arrived, it looked nice, but I had a hard time getting it down. The English muffin was soggy with butter- it was missing that "crunch". The crab cakes were warm with chewy outer runs- fresh from the nuker! The poached eggs were perfect-that's how I landed with the 3 stars. Waitress was very polite and attentive. Ate lass than half and left disappointed. The traffic in/out proves this to be a local hit & maybe I am too big for my britches! If I lived here, I would give it another try.

    (3)
  • Samantha G.

The menu selection is good and so is the food! Just wish this place would renovate or move locations.. Something about not having any windows and carpet just seems weird... Honestly believe the atmosphere would help this place extremely! Although they seem to be doing just fine in this location for now. Typical breakfast menu but with incredible ingredients! The chef knows what he is doing!

This is a hidden gem. It is such a nice relaxed atmosphere. Perfect for casual brunch. No particular ambiance. Big and small tables and nice open space so you don't feel suffocated. Staff were delightful.

Tried for first time and very pleasantly surprised with friendly service, good food and good prices. Clean dining room, good atmosphere and pleasant surrounding. I will return again!!!!! :-)

  • Staretta W.

My husband brought me to brunch here. I was under impressed. I think the decor/appearance played somewhat into that -I think they could stand to redecorate a bit. It had a Waffle House kind of vibe to me, so I was already unsure of how good the food would be. Servers were attentive and polite, but I was not excited by anything on the menu. However- I'm not a huge lover of "normal" breakfast foods, so I was hoping for more of a variety on the menu I guess. I settled for the club omelet, but the potatoes were actually my favorite thing on the plate.

  • Angel C.

Best breakfast I've had in Oklahoma City! The sausage patty was delicious, eggs done perfect. I know it's not hard to make breakfast, but everywhere else I've eaten here seems like they try to hard. Joey's Cafe kept simple and that made it great!

  • David C.

A good solid breakfast. Good prices. Nice restaurant. Good food. Nothing spectacular, but a better option than the breakfast chains.

    (4)
  • Matthew G.

I am a huge breakfast fan and prefer to support local restaurants over chains. This place is one of my favorites that fulfills both of these requirements. Joeys is tucked away in the strip center between a tattoo shop and a tanning salon. The space greets you with a tiny waiting area, but then opens into a large open eating area. The walls are lined with booths for four and the middle section is all tables. They can accommodate large and small parties. The owner/chef used to work at the Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club, or the OCG double C as some say. That being said, he knows how to sling out some seriously good food. They serve huge omelets filled with fresh ingredients, fluffy (but small) pancakes, and some of the best bacon in town. They are open daily from 7AM to 3PM. It is most busy on Friday and Saturday mornings around 9. They also server lunch, but I have never tried it.

  • Joe C.

Joey's Cafe is a solid option for breakfast, and definitely a step up from a greasy spoon diner. The interior somehow manages to seem a little more run-down than it actually is, but the food itself is solid. Eggs Crab Louie were very good, while I'd characterize my "Colossal Omelet" as just okay; essentially, it's a calzone with an omelet as the shell instead of dough, and eggs don't provide the texture that it would really need to taste good. We also had a lazy chef, insofar as each ingredient was stacked in one part of the omelet, with no mixing at all. Service was a little odd, as by her body language and tone the waitress seemed quite unhappy to be there but actually did a pretty good job. Overall, it's a solid place with a few neat dishes, but not quite good enough for it to be worth a long trip out of our way to become regulars.

    (3)
  • Lucy C.

Dang. All I can say is their egg Benedict is so good. And even their pancakes are too. Next time I want to try the omelette with country potatoes. Wish they brought more fruit out with that Benedict though, I finished all of that in seconds bc I was starving. Deducting one star only bc customer service IMO could've been slightly better, but the food was so delicious I will return.

  • Colin M.

Love coming here for breakfast on the weekends. If you are looking for fancy decor and atmosphere this isn't the place for you. If you want a variety of delicious food to stuff in your face, bingo. I've had quite a few items on the menu, can't go wrong with the eggs benedict or eggs florentine. My wife loves the eggs crablouie. I have ventured and tried something other than breakfast and that was good too!

This is a great breakfast place! In town for the ok city memorial marathon Post race meal. The service (kaley) was very good and friendly, no wait before church let out. They have great crushed ice for drinks, excellent- create your own fluffy omelets. A local gave me a tip to get the best French toast in the country and they were excellent. I chose the fresh fruit as my choice, which was included (strawberries, pineapple, and blue berries). Joey's was a great choice!

I have a new favorite breakfast place in OKC - Joey's Cafe! Nice, clean, mom & pop style eatery with few frills. The menu tipped me that we were in for something good. The dishes served are not something they picked up from IHOP. There are lots of veggies, fruits, and more unusual combinations than you see on a run-of-the-mill breakfast joint. I ordered the "Heap Omelette" and Mrs. Eva had the Eggs Benedict with spinach. Both meals were tasty and just a little different than everyday fare. My Heap Omlete had sausage, bacon, onions, bell pepper, and cheese with a country potato side and a bit of fruit. They used mozzarella cheese on the top and it gave the omelette an interesting and slightly sweet flavor. Mrs. Eva loved her Benedict and the spinach made it seem a bit healthy. The sauce was very tasty. Service was fantastic and we seldom got to drink more than an inch out of our coffee before it was being refilled. We were very pleased with our meal and we will go back.

I took my 8 yr old in for breakfast and even though they do not have a Childrens menu we really enjoyed the food. Our waiter was on point and attentive, and the food quality was great. It would have been nice to see lighter portion options as to reduce wasted food though.

Great food and great service! This place is not to be missed. Their pancakes are amazing and the omelettes are delicious as well! I haven't had a bad thing here. We love Joeys!!!

  • Sarah P.

Love this place! We live in Tulsa but work frequently in OKC, and when I can I make sure to find time to get breakfast here before starting our day. The decor is nothing special, but the food and service are great. They cook eggs over medium perfectly (a lot of places can't get it right), the hash browns & bacon are in my top five, and they use fresh strawberries on their waffles (as opposed to the obviously frozen & thawed ones you see a lot elsewhere).

  • Alyx P.

Tucked away in the Town & Country shopping center, Joey's is the best place to hit between 7 am and 3 pm for breakfast, lunch, or a little of both. They do get a bit crowded with the Sunday crowd, but it's steady service by familiar faces. They used to have something called the Lasagna Classico, it was amazing, and they don't serve it anymore. If they brought it back, it would be a 5 star joint for me. For breakfast, you can order from an assortment of gourmet omelettes and classic staples with a twist. My favorite is the French Toast which they batter in Frangelico. It looks pretty on the plate and tastes out of this world! For lunch, good luck! Their menu has so much variety, and none of it is a misfire. The house balsamic dressing is sweet and of substance. The Turkey Club is balanced and fresh. Each and every burger is made with love. If you have a group of people, make them all happy with the option of Chicken Fried Steak or Fettuccine Alfredo. They make their menu, complete with pricing, available online as well. Check them out for any family gathering!

Best Eggs Benedict I have ever had! The presentation was of a 5 star restaurant, the hollandaise sauce was the best part, it was so tasty!! Real fresh fruit too!! This was the best breakfast experience I have had, ever, anywhere! Wish I could give it 10 stars!!

I had a serious Sandwich Jones on this afternoon and wanted to try something new. After looking on Yelp, I decided on Joey's Cafe. Once again, my fellow Yelpers didn't lead me astray. Like many good local joints, Joey's is located in a strip mall setting. Just large enough not to be a hole in the wall, the interior is unassuming but nice. I ordered a Turkey Club, which comes with fries or salad; I took the salad. I also ordered a cup of the soup of the day, which was tomato bisque. The order came out quickly and looked very good. The salad was very nice - not just your run of the mill iceberg with dressing. The soup was a major winner. This was some of the best tomato soup I've had in a long time. And the sandwich was equally great; it also had bacon and avocado on it, and the avocado was perfectly ripe. I really liked this place, and want to come back soon to try breakfast. Service is friendly and efficient, and I would recommend Joey's to anyone.

I come here for the the Eggs Benedict Crab Louis. It's a small neighborhood joint dominated by residents of @quailcreek, the staff is friendly and the service is a little slow sometimes. Prices are reasonable and the food is good!

  • Abigail S.

I went to try this place for the first time yesterday. The food was good, however the service was terrible! Our server took 45 minutes just bring us straws, we had to ask numerous times just for straws. My coffee was cold and when I asked for a hot one, I still received another one cold. My friend ordered a salad that had hair in it and all our tickets were wrong with items on it we didn't even order! When we spoke to the manager about all of this, she immediately became rude and unprofessional screaming at the other patrons eating that my friends and I were trying to eat for free! She had absolutely zero customer service and caused an unnecessary scene when all we were trying to do was pay and get out tickets corrected. I definitely would NOT recommend this place because of her. I wouldn't even give this place 1 star but it won't let me post a review with zero stars!

  • Brian M.

Based on the great reviews, we tried Joey's. Nice place, and if you get there at or before 8 (at least on Saurday) you'll have a quick, quiet dining experience. I had 'The Heap' omelette and Ra had Ham & eggs, over medium. All the food was cooked perfectly. The thing that really spoiled the whole thing for us was the food was barely warm and the toast was cold as ice & barely toasted. All that said, our server, Angelica lived up to her name: she was an angel. We won't be back, and not just because we live in CA. Cold food is one of those "unforgivables". I hate saying that about any place. My hope is that they'll read this and take steps to serve HOT food.

Do not be fooled by the shady strip mall location! VERY good food! The boyfriend and I have officially become brunch-obsessed...to the point where when we didn't get OUT to eat brunch until 1 p.m., we still decided to forego lunch and were determined to find somewhere that serves breakfast all day. It's just that big of a deal. Well, thanks to my Yelp app on my iPhone, I searched "all day breakfast" and found Joey's Cafe. Seemed very hole-in-the-wall, and everyone seemed to have good things to say. We will definitely be back! Troy got the Eggs Benedict, and I got the Corn Beef Hash Eggs Benedict. Both were really really good. Eggs were cooked perfectly, potatoes were excellent. Their coffee was organic and low-acid (AWESOME!). The server was very friendly as well. This place needs some publicity! Everything we saw coming out of the kitchen (lunch and breakfast) looked amazing. Here is this HITW place serving what looks to be gourmet meals. And everything was so inexpensive. What an unbelievable find!

  • Leigh A.

It was gross. Nothing was salted, gravy was plain white gravy, "homemade" corned beef hash was made with frozen hash browns. Very disappointed. The only good part was our server was nice and attentive.

  • Jerry O.

Take a chance if you want, but I won't waste my time again. Great menu items, but slow service and poorly prepared food. Burnt crab patties over burnt English muffins with overlooked eggs and tired looking sauce. I understand what the multiple reviews about inconsistent food mean now; I just don't want to risk it and be disappointed again.

Great, affordable breakfast. You gotta beat the church crowd for sure with this one--intimate dining area.

The ONLY reason I steered away from 5 stars is the restaurant itself. Not the "best" kept place.. not dirty, noting like that, just a little, um, diner-ish. I had the Eggs Crab Louie last time I went, and it was nothing short of AMZING! The service was impeccable, and the food was over the top delicious! Absolutely one of the BEST breakfast places I've ever been to!

Lunch at Joey's didn't disappoint. Ordered a salmon club and while it didn't resemble a club sandwich, it was nevertheless quite tasty. Ciabatta layered with sauteed spinach, grilled salmon, sundried tomatoes, smoked provolone and basil mayo. Oh my.

I decided to go with a simple Joey's burger being my first time. The burger was solid, not the best I have ever had but not the worst. The service good, no complaints there. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired and seems a little dirty but could be overlooked. I will be giving Joey's another try as the breakfast items looks more like their specialty. I would recommend giving it a shot but don't go out of your way. Having said that my brother had a salad which was amazing and seemed like a whole meal placed on a bed of lettuce.

We tried Joey's for the first time today. It is a great place! Like others have mentioned, don't let the strip mall fool you. Open the door and walk in to a nice, warm and comfy atmosphere. The service was quick, coffee is great, and the food was fantastic! Definitely plenty of food on each plate for a not a lot of money! The 'Eggs Crab Louie', which is a variation of Eggs Benedict, had perfectly poached eggs and wonderful sauce. This was a great anniversary breakfast for us!

Not enough people working. The hostess was never at the front to seat you and was clearing off tables herself. After waiting for a while and being put on an unorganized seating list, people who had just walked in were seating before us. Needless to say we left. Overall, unorganized and slow service.

We typically stay in OKC one weekend a month. In this part of town there seems to be little for breakfast that one doesn't have to wait an hour to get seated. We scored with It had a diverse menu with breakfast and lunch offerings. The place is clean but not fancy. The wait staff handled things nicely and delivered a good meal, especially for the price. I had corn beef hash and potatoes with eggs. Good hollandaise sauce too. The Belgian waffles for my son were generous as was my husband's egg/meat combo. I would call this a good value with no surprises. If I have one complaint it is that the food was warm but not hot. I figured it was a timing issue for th eggs. Good meal overall.

This place is phenominal! My wife and I have started going there every Saturday for brunch. We always get the same thing and it is pretty reasonably priced too. Their coffee deserves a review of it's own but suffice to say, I am a bit of a coffee snob and I usually have five cups before we leave. All in all if you want good food at a good price, this is a place to try.
